• Research and development engaging cable industry members on SDN related technologies.
• Prototyped use cases applicable to the cable industry using SDN technologies. Demonstrated L2VPN provisioning, DDOS mitigation, and video streaming with QoS.
• Developed a Packet Cable COPS southbound plugin for the OpenDayLight controller to enable a CMTS as a network element to manage network service flows. Primarily Java and some RESTful interface programming in Python.

• Researched telecom and data center networking products pertaining to cloud computing and hosted virtual environments to identified how Intel products could accelerate networking performance in Openstack.
• Built and integrated Wind River Linux, libvirt, and KVM hypervisor on blade servers.
